Happy Monday! Hope you all had a nice holiday week

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a nice holiday weekend! Our neighborhood doesn’t allow fireworks but we were able to watch a few from afar. We also did some gardening and planted some new pretty flowers in our front yard. Thank God for husbands because I literally couldn’t dig a hole. 😂 Our soil is hard clay and is literally like digging into cement.

Here is a view of my front porch I have never shared before! It’s taken me almost 3 years to finally get a bench and here it is! I even did the responsible adult thing and used heavy duty scotch guard on it. 💪🏻. Because we all know having white cushions outside with 3 kids is the perfect storm for a disaster 😂. I will let you know at the end of summer if this was worth the splurge. Or still looking this crispy clean. .

Sharing a place that is very special...Grammy and Poppy’s house! A couple weeks ago we visited my in laws in California. And they had the most magical attic and garden for the kids to play in. So much family history, antique pieces, toys my husband played with as a kid, blooming flowers and lots of sunshine. I hope my children keep these special memories in their hearts forever 💗

Somehow Matt and I managed to watch the 3 kids and build this DIY Moulding around the entry of our office! Swipe to see the before! Trying to do a straight line of dark paint along a curved edge = nope! 🙅🏻‍♀️😂. So moulding it was! .

Last night I caulked and spackled and today will attempt to paint it! One of these days when I am not changing a diaper or cleaning up an explosion of toys, I will put together a tutorial on how we did this affordable DIY! I know you DIY moms feel me 😂
