If you love colorful, feminine design, you will love Caitlin Wilson. She is a designer, wife, and mother originally from San Francisco, Ca and incredibly talented! I stumbled upon her website through another blogger’s Instagram post and saw the most beautiful rug in the picture. I instantly Instagram stalked the rug, trying to figure out where it was from and discovered it was Caitlin Wilson’s most popular Kismet Rug in Navy.
As I delved deeper into her website, drooling over her other rugs, pillows, wall paper, art and home decor, I just knew her products weren’t gonna be cheap (and rightfully so)! When I clicked on the Kismet Rug in Navy to check on the price, my heart sank. “UGH! $1,500 for a 5×7? $695 for a 3X7 runner?” Yup, pretty much can’t afford that. *Tear*
Stumbled Upon A Kismet Rug Look A Like
BUT one day I stumbled upon a rug that looked VERY similar to the Kismet Rug in Navy. I found it on Wayfair for under $100 and bought it instantly! It is seriously the most beautiful rug and my favorite rug in my home. I know it’s not the original Caitlin Wilson rug I wanted, but it makes me happy.

Steal: Wayfair’s “Arteaga Navy Area Rug” by Bungalow Rose is $98.37 for a 5X7. This is such a great option if you can’t afford the Kismet Rug. It is really beautiful in person and adds such a fun pop of color to your room! Other size options are available too.
Splurge: Caitlin Wilson’s Kismet Rug in Mulberry is $1,150 for a 5X7. If you like more cooler tones, this is a great alternative to the Kismet Rug in Navy.
Steal: Wayfair’s “Arteaga Persian Inspired Gray/Blue Area Rug” by Bungalow Rose is $122 for a 5X7. Just like the previous rug, this is another great affordable Kismet Rug dupe!

Steal: Wayfair’s “Lundy Traditional Medallion Grey/Orange Area Rug” by World Menagerie is $148 for a 5X7. This rug also comes in a pink and blue version which is super pretty!
Splurge: Caitlin Wilson’s Desi Rug in Indigo is $1,150 for a 5X7. This style of rug has an elegant geometric design with a beautiful deep blue color.

If you fall in love with an item for your home, but can’t afford paying the high price….more then likely there are other options out there that are similar and more affordable!
